“DO YOU HAVE PLANS FOR THE FALL~?” This is no joke, I do have plans for the fall… Unfortunately, most people of my age MUST have plans for the fall.

Their homes must be clear of objects that may trip them or otherwise cause falls, they should have lights to see where they are going many all other unusual things not usually considered in the average home~!

In addition to that, I have two objects that are a must when going out and around in my place… I have fallen from stepping on a rock or tripping over a stick, or some other unseen object.

So I have a walking staff at each entrance to my house, and I take it along on my walks with my dog, Tami. This is as much for helping me get back up, as it is for keeping from falling. In addition, I have a system in my home provided at no cost to me. https://www.google.com/search?q=mobile+medical+alert+system+with+gps+and+fall+detection&client=firefox-b-1-d&sca_esv=184e5df6e0f637a1&sxsrf=AE3TifMDUWERBA1e-43zd6NAxtYupAi4AQ%3A1749475595300&ei=C-FGaNmREurJkPIP6-XFmQY&oq=mobile+medical+alert+system&gs_lp=Egxnd3Mtd2l6LXNlcnAiG21vYmlsZSBtZWRpY2FsIGFsZXJ0IHN5c3RlbSoCCAMyBRAAGIAEMgsQABiABBiRAhiKBTIGEAAYFhgeMgYQABgWGB4yBhAAGBYYHjIGEAAYFhgeMgYQABgWGB4yBhAAGBYYHjIGEAAYFhgeMgYQABgWGB5Ix6oBUMIlWMIlcAF4AZABAJgBngGgAZ4BqgEDMC4xuAEByAEA-AEC-AEBmAICoAKxAcICChAAGLADGNYEGEeYAwCIBgGQBgiSBwMxLjGgB5YHsgcDMC4xuAepAcIHBTItMS4xyAcO&sclient=gws-wiz-serp It is an alert unit that sits in a convenient place and connects to the phone line.

In an emergency, it calls first my closest neighbor and then my family, then, with no response, it dials 911 or other emergency assistance. It is automated, and it also has a DONGLE to wear around the neck. That dongle works in two ways: it can detect a fall and act automatically, or you can press it and call out as though you are talking on the phone.

I am embarrassed in needing such a system, but my mother died in a hospital due to a bad fall.. and she was younger than I am when she died.

This is a complete system, not just an object. They call me at intervals to make sure the system is working properly or I can call them.

That and losing keys and glasses and phones speaks for most of us. You can’t help but think about it, but you are of such a positive nature, that I’m sure happiness will win out.
