Welcome to “The Numbers Game #78” Today’s number is 199. To play along, go to your photos file folder and type that number into the search bar. Then post a selection of the photos you find that include that number and post a link to your blog in my Numbers Game blog of the day. If instead of numbers, you have changed the identifiers of all your photos into words, pick a word or words to use instead, and show us a variety of photos that contain that word in the title. This prompt will repeat each Monday with a new number. If you want to play along, please put a link to your blog in comments below. Here are my contributions to the album.

Look closer, Esther. Can you find a fourth cat?

Actually, I did, too. When I read your comment I thought, were there just three? I looked back at the photo and had a hard time seeing the fourth stretched across the bottom. They were abandoned as tiny kittens right outside my garage. One of them climbed up the bougainvillea and chased my big cat away from her meal. Two more were in the process of climbing the vine and a fourth, the runt and only boy of the litter, was still in a cardboard box they’d evidently been carried here in. I’m wondering if the garbage men found them and left them here. At any rate, I raised them all..to the chagrin of my one remaining fullgrown cat.

Awww, what a lovely story – though not for your fullgrown cat!

She was miserable until they were old enough to be allowed outside to live in their cushy houses both in the garage and in an area outside..Then she moved inside again and lived for another year just to spite them, even though she was very ill and had to be fed every 3 hours! They kept trying to break into the house and I have a wonderful video you can find on youtube of the tiny kittens trying to break in through the window over the tub. They were very determined and did finally succeed in removing one slat of the cantileered window, pushing the screen in and climbing in through the bars Only one had nerve enough to jump down into the tub, however. They were determined little souls.

Lots of good stuff here, Judy! I love the children on the big wooden horses and with the sculpture at the ‘beach’. That walking stick on the hat! The beautiful flowers and plants. ~Ed.

Splendid selections. Love the cats, the stick insects, and that fabulous yellow and red-spotted flower. Do you know what that is? Here’s mine this week: https://grahamsisland.com/2025/06/24/the-numbers-game-78/
