Welcome to “The Numbers Game #89”. Today’s number is 211. To play along, go to your photos file folder and type that number into the search bar. Then post a selection of the photos you find that include that number and post a link to your blog in my Numbers Game blog of the day. If instead of numbers, you have changed the identifiers of all your photos into words, pick a word or words to use instead, and show us a variety of photos that contain that word in the title. This prompt will repeat each Monday with a new number. If you want to play along, please put a link to your blog in comments below. Here are my contributions to the album.

These are such a wonderful lot Judy. The cat made me smile as did that dog grinning at the camera. Was the snake in your garden? Zoe’s pool reflection is great.
I saw swamped with selection so I did something totally different this week. Hope you don’t mind

Not keen on the snake but loved the dogs.

I hoped someone would catch that. I imagine there are a good many tennis balls hidden somewhere in shrubbery in my yard.

Thanks, Marina. I always have to have another look at my photos when people comment, because sometimes I forget what photos I put up. Imagine that.

Ha.. it does look like a cat because you can’t see her head, but the animal reflected in the pool is my dog Zoe.

My husband carved it. It is an A.A.Milne quote from Winnie-the-Pooh.

a unique approach, and very entertaining.

Have you seen his other carvings? If not, I’ll do a blog post of them.

I’d love to see a post of his carvings. Peoples work gets squirreled away in collcection, homes, or museums and the creativity behind it is lost because you don’t see enough of how they worked or lived.

You remind me of him. He was obsessed with his studios and his art…metal, wood, stone, clay, sandblasting, paper…everything that allowed him to buy a new tool and set up a new studio! But he started with wood.

Wonderful photos! That gate! Risky behavior on the ATV! That pooch sticking its head out of the carrier! Scary snake! Scary doll! Those lit shelves! And, aww, the Scotty and Pug – so sweet! ~Ed.

The lit shelves are mine. I went to a trade show and they were displaying their products in them. I asked if I could buy the display! I went back at end of show and picked it up. This metalworks company has made almost all of my tables, dining room furniture, armoirs and side tables.. all of which I designed. But they’ve never made this bookcase with lights in it since then. I love it because it shows off my precolumbian art..as well as modern replicas.

A splendid and varied selection Judy. I love the colorful gate and the ball in the flowers. It’s perfectly positioned. I also like the snake, though it’s possibly better in a photo than close at hand! Here’s mine this week: https://grahamsisland.com/2025/09/09/the-numbers-game-89/

Great start with the fluffy kitty tummy, and I like the nicely arranged offrenda, and then the little puppy looking at the camera with those expressive eyes. 🙂
