Halloween Color
Marigolds are seen in profusion on Day of the Day altars and graveyards. I snapped these at the Lake Chapala Society during a lull in the rain today.

WONDERFUL MARIGOLDS. FYI USED THEM BEFORE TO GO AROUND THE BORDER OF MY VERY LARGE GARDEN. THEY ARE WONDERFUL TO NATURALLY KEEP PESTS LIKE RACCONS, DEER, AND RABBITS FROM THE GARDEN. I LOVE TO GROW THESE MARIGOLDS SUCH AS YOU PHOTO’D TODAY. LATELEY I HAVE MUMS PHOTOS COMING : + } P.S. YOUR MARIGOLDS LOOK FABULOUS!
SINCERELY,

Thanks, Hobo. I had forgotten what good pest preventers they are. Wish I’d known that when I lived in CA. The deer ate everything there! I finally gave up and just raised my plants in big pots on my porch.

I was going to post mums and pumpkins and play it straight, but I just had to have some fun with my flowers today. I’m glad you played it straight though, because your photo is beautiful.
