   Great greens! It’s a wonderfully green season, this spring — I love the cactus and the boats — and that wicked wormy caterpillar that’s not a monarch caterpillar!

      It is the larval form of a hummingbird moth. Isn’t it intergalactic looking?

         It certainly is! I’ll have to look up its moth to see if it is also intergalactic!

         Maybe not quite as intergalactic looking as the larva, but definitely inter-species! Definitely odd looking creatures!
