Propinquity
There we sit,
side by side
again and again.
You in black,
I perpetually in vivid red,
slightly aslant
to your perfect
upright.
How is it
that we could meet
time and again,
liking the same things
not only so often,
but also with
such perfect timing
that it places us
side by side–
united so often
in proximity
and preference
in this cyber world,
when we will never meet
in the other.
Don’t worry, Mark–I’m not about to turn stalker. I’m just continually amazed at how often you view a blog just before I do. We must be on the same erratic schedule.
That made me giggle….

Does that ever happen to you, Roger? Do you continually wind up next to the same person? It’s like that guy with the same last initial that I sat behind all the way through jr. high and high school.

Propinquity – Good word. Great song by Michael Nesmith. And a great post. (You can listen to the song here.)

Can you put the link on the post? I agree it is a great song…I’d love to help share it with the world.

Ha! 😀 Thanks for including the screen shot, or I would have been left scratching my head and wondering. Excellent…

Perhaps I should have put the screen shot first, but people are so accustomed to seeing it at the end of a post, I was afraid they’d skip the poem. Yeah, it’s necessary to understand the poem.

Nope, best at the end with no peaking!

Did you figure out the other riddle? I thought it was obvious but the only comment was that it was not clear.

Uh oh. O.o
There was another riddle? Um, yeah. Sure. I got it! Of course I did! Sheez.

I am continually amazed at how often you two appear together in comments on my posts. It would be scary if it wasn’t so obviously friendly! Anton

Ha! So I’m not the only one. The thing is that I come on at different times of the day…not one set time; but time and again he has just “liked” what I am about to like. Perhaps he has cloned himself and has some sort of blog tracking device? Just kidding, Mark, if you are reading this!
