About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

I feel so fortunate to have discovered you, thanks to Google. Some combination of Jan,( my name), Sea Ranch, and “birthday” magically connected us. Now I will be a faithful follower of your blog, loving your creative spirit, love of beauty and gift with words. How often do you get to Sea Ranch? I recognize that house from many walks.
My husband calls me JetWife, because we met when both were in the flying business. Hence my ID. So happy to make your acquaintance!

Hi Janet, What a nice comment, worthy of putting off a swim to read and answer it. I used to go to Sea Ranch once or twice a year, with a group of friends. Peggy, who is the owner of the house along with some of her husband’s family, would take us up for an art retreat which was always wonderful. Since I moved to Mexico 14 years ago, I have only been twice. You are making me believe in the magic of tagging! It is so nice to meet you and I’m honored that you are following my blog. Do you live at Sea Ranch year round? If not, where do you call home? Judy
