Thank you for joining the challenge. These are very lovely findings which usually we happen to ignore! I like the high heels one more due to the composition and elements in that frame 🙂

Yes..I played around with the framing of that one more. Sometimes I carry cropping too far!!! Thanks for the comment.

The one with the stick dangling on the cord was taken when they were putting the palapa roof on Alice Walker’s overhangs! I was sitting in Guacamole’s watching them and this was hanging down. I became obsessed with getting a good shot of it!! The shoes were outside the door of the girl’s orphanage where I gave weekly art workshops…the cup was at a friend’s house. Thanks for commenting. Did you mean for me to take it literally? Ha.

Aha.Silly me for labeling two posts with the same title. The story? Last year I did weekly art projects with the girls at a home for severely abused girls. One day I arrived to find these shoes outside of the door. I just loved the shoes and the story they told. They were actually the shoes of a girl who had recently turned 18 and moved out of the home. She’d come back to visit. I sitll have no idea why she took off the shoes and left them outside the door of the residence. It was inside a compound, so no fear of theft. I imagine as sexy as they look that they were very uncomfortable and she didn’t relish wearing them on the climb up the long staircase to the dormitory. Or, perhaps she had stinky feet and was airing them out. Nah. too unromantic. The other possibility is that she is waiting for her prince.

I admire your dedication. I felt like that while traveling and also when I murdered my computer earlier this year. I don’t think I ever did get caught up.
