You know I think I couldn’t teach it. Like all the art and photography I do, it is totally instinctual and intuitive. I just go into the zone and start playing around. I do have another one I did that keeps popping up on my desktop–don’t know why. Perhaps it wants to be posted. We’ll see. If it pops up again, I will do so. Thanks for the encouragement. You have no idea what an influence you have had on my life with your prompts and plaudits, Cee. You probably realize this by the number of participants you draw, but sometimes the obvious is not realized. I know you must devote a good part of your day to your blog and commenting on the work of others so you need to know that it really does affect the lives of others. I never would have become an artist if it hadn’t been for the support and encouragement of my husband and his push for me to study metalsmithing and papermaking and to start doing shows. I think you are nudging me into photography by the same means. I’ve been taking photographs for the past 14 years–just by compulsion–but you have finally given me something to do with them and a push to take even more daily! So print up this comment and stick it somewhere where you can find it if you ever start doubting what influence you have in the world. Blogs have an incredible power and yours is one that affects a lot of people daily. Certificate of Merit!!!
I adore it when you play around with a photo. You might be teaching composition one day!
