Everything is so colorful! Even the cars and trucks are colorful. Shops just glow with color. It’s wonderful!

I think you belong in Mexico, Marilyn…

Just suddenly realized the irony of what you just said. (Having seen Bob’s and your photos of the incredible fall colors there.) It’s just hard to imagine those are the real colors! Come to think of it, I’ve seen them in Michigan at my husband’s sister’s farm. I couldn’t believe my eyes then, either.

Wall Drug! I had my first buffalo burger there. What a place. Nice selection of photos.

Bet you drove right through my home town, then–50 miles east of Wall on Hwy 16 or Interstate 90! What year?

Oh gosh…it would have been….2000. We sort of zagged through SD, took smaller roads across the state. Started in Watertown, if that’s any help. 🙂 It was a great trip!

That was the year before I moved to Mexico, but I left S.D. in ’65, returning only to visit or for vacations. You would have had to have gone through Murdo if you went through Wall. Claim to fame is the Pioneer Auto Museum and the fact that I think when motels are full it triples the size of the town!!! Ha.
