Unwarranted Evaluation
I feel it with my writing and I feel it with my art.
Although you say the opposite, I’m really not that smart.
When people rave I feel like in a way I don’t deserve it.
In case I might get better, perhaps they should reserve it.
The only time I feel that I deserve praise, if they’d do it,
is when somebody sees my work and chooses to eschew it!!!

We all SAY we can handle criticism … but I think we are fibbing 🙂 I deal with it and sometimes, even agree, but I do NOT have to like it.
