Touched

Soft and cool, smooth and neat.
One sensation that can’t be beat,
stretched beneath my legs and feet?
A newly ironed bottom sheet.

Daily Prompt–The Power of Touch: Textures are everywhere: The rough edges of a stone wall. The smooth innocence of a baby’s cheek. The sense of touch brings back memories for us. What texture is particularly evocative to you?

      Ha. Yes. Needed to drive my nephew and his sweetie to Guadalajara and had a number of other problems in getting started, so had to be swift. Some of my readers will appreciate this as they claim I can go on for too long at times.
