Need I say more? Everything was delicious, as was the company. My oldest guests were 92 and 94 and just got married (to each other) last week! They live a block away from me!!! They went to Texas to get married and said they didn’t charge them for the license.
Good. Too much, of course. But good. With enough leftover, but not too much.

I need to make dinner for 6 for a writer’s retreat next week, so I’ll make a casserole out of the turkey leftovers and freeze it!

I think you had exactly the same food we did. Except I made two kinds of cranberry sauce, because cranberries are me.

We had three kinds. One with chipotle, one with nuts and one without.

Ooops…Don’t think my answer sent. We had three kinds of cranberry sauce: one with chipotle, one with nuts and one without! Talk about excessive. And two dressings–one gluten free and one gluten full.

Yes, Scott. So glad you pointed that out. I think everyone loves the idea that romance doesn’t need to end in one’s nineties, let alone eighties or seventies or sixties. I certainly do!!!

He wrote his…very interesting. I’ll ask to put chapters in as a guest blogger. I edited some of his stuff for him and advised. He’s had some remarkable things happen–including 4 wives now. His stepkids all love him as much as his own kids, which is always a good indication of someone’s “virtues” I think. He’s a kind man.

I know. I just love that neither has given up on life and love. He’s altered three rooms for her. Built a huge closet, took out the hot tub so they wouldn’t fall and hurt themselves and had a custom desk and shelf and computer station for her in his study. She was so tickled. Better than roses, this practical stuff.

The food was fabulous, the company so warm and welcoming. Definitely the best of my 10 expat Thanksgivings!

It worked! (Linda’s been having trouble being accepted to comment. I didn’t put any restrictions on people commenting, but perhaps WordPress makes you register first? Has anyone else had problems?) As for the dinner, Linda made the gravy for me (from the turkey drippings and other ingredients I provided) and it was incredible. Plus she made about a gallon, so there is plenty left over!!

This is the best news I heard all week. ❤ ❤ ❤ Much love to you and your neighbours.
I LOVE your interiors, very very much. As for food, I'm quite sure I'd say the same. 🙂

Looks better on YOUR plates! 😀 Much more festive. Hey, do you have a good recipe for pecan pie? I have my mom’s, but I haven’t liked it much the last couple years. Maybe getting tired of it.
