I actually played the saxophone in high school but passed the sax on to my niece.  Cindy, if you are reading this, please try it out––or send me that mouthpiece.  I’m ready for a reunion!!!

About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

Judy, I know absolutely nothing about music..
That carrot clarinet was out of this world. It took me right back to Jimmy Dorsey and the big band era, while this guy was playing his carrot.
Thanks for the great post that was something else.

What a hoot (or should I say toot?). I’m sending this wonderful link to my boys. I did play a clarinet at school for about three weeks, but it was a metal one and I got tired of cleaning it with Brasso which got stuck under the keys. So I gave it up. Love a sax, though, and didn’t he play well?
