Ha.. Just plant it and if you don’t like it, uproot it. Ours in South Dakota produced big pods we used as boats to float down the ditches when it rained.
They’d die back each winter in SD but come back each spring. In Mexico they bloom year round. I think they are a variety of honeysuckle, at least they resemble them but with a larger bloom.

I like these in the pictures… do you know much about them and their care? Are they invasive plants that will eat up the yard?

No it is a vine. We had them in South Dakota and I have them in Mexico. Easy to keep trimmed back. The vine is light weight.

Good to know. I have bee looking at them for several years. It can take me years to decide on a plant???
