Celebrating my 100,000th View!

A friend pointed out that I would probably hit my 100,000th view tonight and he wanted to be the viewer to hit the 100,000th mark.  Three came in rather quickly, but he was either the 100,000th or the 100,001st–which is a nice symmetrical number, as well.  He took a screen shot and here it is: 100,001I had no idea when I started this blog that I would ever hit this mark!!!  Thanks to all of you who have continued to put up with my remarks, my poems, my obsession with certain little dogs, pictures of my food, my flowers, my friends and my digs.  I guess in a way a blog is the ultimate “selfie,” but then that is what most writers write about, no matter how well-disguised they are in different characters.  I’m lifting a glass of rum and Coke to you!  Thanks for bearing with me!  oxoxoxoxooxxo

    Congratulations on reaching that milestone! I began writing to “scratch the itch” and I still write mostly about everyday life here. I don’t feel the need to accumulate followers, but at the same time I appreciate each and every one of them, as well as those who leave comments on my blog, or those who simply like a post. Perhaps that is what I am searching for, the connection to others just as your like has drawn me to your blog 🙂

      I know. I love those interconnections that happen, sometimes over something as simple as a picture of a cat (Spartacus) or a shared cause (Mark’s making us all aware of the horrible atrocities in Saudi Arabia.) Try not to hate me that I haven’t seen snow in six years! I did my penance growing up in South Dakota and going to University and teaching in Wyoming. Now I am in the promised land of Mexico. Ahhhhh. No scraping windshields or skidding on ice.

    That is AWESOME!!! I wish I could get that many people interested in inspiration and uplifting others in the world through I.M.P.A.C.T. I have been at this for a year and a half and I have only seen one other person to hit numbers like this! Congratulations! You have what the world needs. Now keep on delivering it. You are doing awesome and an inspiration to thousands!!

I am sure there are people who get a million hits on each posting, but I am happy with the hits I get and so pleased that I’ve met the wonderful people such as yourself that I’ve met while blogging. I never dreamed I would ever have this many people reading and responding to my blog. I do appreciate your words. Judy
