Hairy Kids

I love looking for the story in a photo and sometimes crop to accentuate the story.  Cropping a different way often tells a different story.  Two of these photos, with a light colored dog or dogs trying to compete with a black element in the story or an equally light background, seemed to work better in sepia, although it destroys the effect of the gallery collage.  See if you can choose which title goes with each shot:  New Family, Zsa Zsa, Loyal Friend, Hopeful Waiting, Uninvited Guest,Traveler, Shadow Reflection, Bad Hair Day.   If you have a better title for a shot, please let me know! Some of the shots made small by the gallery view need to be seen in their enlarged view to see the story.

    I have never in all my years of take pictures managed to get a good group shot of the fur kids. Black scottie agains lighter Aussie who is also much bigger … and Amber, the wiener dog just gets totally lost in the bigger dogs. I love your fur kids. Bonnie adored Morrie. They were made for each other. He is her hero!

      Those 4 dogs all belong to the woman they are with. She pretty much adopts any stray dog she become acquainted with and either finds them a home, sends them to Canada with friends who find parents for them there or keeps them. They all coexist so peacefully, including their walks on the beach. If I didn’t already have three I might be tempted, but, no. Maggie, my housesitter told me yesterday that she has Morrie trained to sit quietly in his cage until she tells him to come out and eat his breakfast or dinner, but that she hasn’t trained him not to scarf it all down in less than a minute. I should leave home more often. Ha.
