I wrote to this prompt two years ago. HERE is what I had to say about it then.

 

The Prompt: When was the last time your walked away from a discussion, only to think of The Perfect Comeback hours later? Recreate the scene for us, and use your winning line.

      Then it is true. We might as well be married! You sometimes give links to old posts, don’t you? Doesn’t hurt as old readers can take a rest but it gives new readers a chance to see posts they would never see otherwise. I figure if WP can keep repeating these prompts, we can keep using our former posts. I do usually try to write a new one as well. Well, sometimes. This prompt has always been hard because although I know this has happened to me dozens of times, I cannot remember the specific details.
