Outer Space
One day we’ll have to leave this place
to venture into outer space;
but probably I’ll be long gone
when we all venture over yon.
If outer space is simply gray,
I’m glad I’ll miss that awful day.

No one does, Calen. As my memory fails, I won’t remember–except for the fact that I never see the sunrise because I’m always in my bedroom writing as that happens. I emerge from my cocoon in the mid to late morning.
