I love the detail and the unhurried, sleepy quality of this Mexican scene. I’m not sure whether the amount of detail removes it from the “Landscape ” category or not.

A good vista … nice!

You need things up close to view the expanse of your landscape. 😀

I’ll look for some, Cee.. They just didn’t happen to be in these shots…I know they don’t illustrate your lessons. I also looked for that tunneling effect which is so effective in your photos… Just didn’t find any in my photos. I think mainly because I take landscapes primarily at the beach where it is pretty open… Gonna go on a hunt through my photos and see if I have any!

Actually, you can just crop it so the guy on the donkey and the dogs are at the front of the picture. That would add perspective. Also, it would look nice.

I have another version of the photo cropped like that but unfortunately the focus isn’t good enough to make it effective..So I went with the landscape/storytelling view. I was taking the photo through the windshield while driving, so conditions weren’t ideal.

I know… I love the horse, man, dogs, cows, bicycle–it’s like everything that can move down this road is moving down it at the same time–and me behind them in the car.
