I swear this is not a setup! I came in, tossed some change down on the desk and opened my computer. After working for a few minutes, I looked down and this is what I saw. Luckily my camera was handy just a few steps away. What are the chances that the coin would balance itself on edge like this???? Again..I couldn’t balance it if I tried. My friendly desk poltergeists had a hand in it.

reminds me of an old twilight zone show, where a guy tosses a coin in a beggars pot an it stands on it’s side, an he is transported through time, an it altered all of his reality till the coin fell over ……damn that was like 45 years ago i am getting like way old lol….

I love it when stuff like that happens. Unless it’s when you drop you ring, it bounces up from the floor, caroms off the radiator, does a double back flip and winds up down the toilet. And you say “Wow, I couldn’t have done that on purpose in a million years of trying.”
Yours ended up giving you really cool pictures. I wind up with my arm in the toilet, fishing for my ring. What are the odds, right?

Some of us leave charmed lives… Ha. Which one? These coins were very small. Look big in the photo, but they are the two smallest coins. One peso and one tenth of a peso. One peso is between a nickel and a dime but more the size of a dime.

I once peeled the plastic off the inside of a pop bottle cap, tore out the middle so the outside formed a ring and flipped it off the end of my finger at my boyfriend way across the room. He was smoking a cigarette and it ringed the cigarette without touching the burning tip! Impossible. No I wasn’t trying for that.

I know. It always feels like some kind of sign. I should have left it that way to see how long it would stay on its own… but it was in a very busy spot next to my computer. Still…

I always have my camera at hand, ghost..either in my handbag or wherever I last downloaded photos into my computer. In this case, it was here at my desk, although I looked everywhere else in the house for my purse first.
