From a spare black dog to a spare cookie, sparing is ok ok. Be sure to bring your spare junk over to Jan and she’ll make something else wonderful out of it. Spare petals from my Poinsettia tree collect on bird of paradise mega leaves. The landscape may be spare, but there is always beauty there—like this lovely little cactus or the lone bird in the blue sky.
And a spare dog dish can’t hurt, either!

Such a creative interpretation of this week’s challenge. A spare dog dish is always a good idea – that would mean there would be space for both food and water for the dog…or perhaps double the food at one go 😀

We have a small theater here in ABQ called the Aux Dog.They put on good plays there. Someone recently tried to say the name with a French accent – Oh Dog, but this is the real reason for the name: The owner has two dogs, the second one being the Auxiliary (or spare) one; ‘nuf said.
