The prompt word today is CRISIS.
Panic!!!
When I was younger and a rover,
the things I should have panicked over
never seemed to stick to me.
I guess that’s part of being free.
But now with bigger guns and Isis,
we all feel continual crisis.
Though it’s true, I must confess,
I overlook the world’s grand mess
and concentrate on creaking knees
and where I left my ring of keys.
As I get older, I would guess,
I’ll feel more panic over less.
beautiful and very emotional words.

Exactly … i always get manic over panic. While i scrabble over trouble, whether righteous or indignant. It really seems like nothing is more repugnant? Than governments running ISIS Cheers Jamie

Older people do seem more cautious. I think it’s because of those creaking knees.

Well, sometimes I do use poetic license. I don’t reveal where, however! But, thanks for your confidence in me…
