Very intricate carving work. Not at all what I would have expected from a store/shop in Wyoming. It really has a far eastern look to it. Nice find 🙂

I made a boo boo, Norm. This doorway is actually of a boot and leather shop in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! How embarrassing.

Oh oh, my bad!!!! That was actually a leather and boot store in Puerto Vallarta! I saw the boots and western jackets and just jumped to the conclusion that it must be Sheridan. I’m so glad you brought it to my attention.

I didn’t even notice if you mentioned Sheridan. I saw Norm mentioned Wyoming and just thought, “Wow, I’ve never seen a door like that anywhere in Wyoming or Sheridan.” Looks more like Puerto Vallarta. 🙂

See how smart you are? He saw that I had put Sheridan as a tag. This year I was in both places, so it was believable it was from Sheridan, but I was surprised, too, that such a door would be in Sheridan–at least in a C&W store. But Sheridan is a pretty sophisticated place as well as being pretty authentically western, so it made sense in that respect.
