Natural Alarm Clock
I’m up before the Daily Prompt,
up before the sun.
Somehow I’ve started my new day
before the night is done.
The world is cloaked in darkness.
It’s too early for me,
yet wake up time’s whenever
Morrie needs to pee!

Our son-in-law tells us that sand makes a great filter for any impurities, so I guess a beach makes a good bathroom.
Something I’ve never thought of before: is beach sand mixed with salt?

It certainly has salt in it. If I were going to use it in a planter, I’d certainly soak and drain it first.

Same in the morning hear. Our little old lady, Penny, gets us up late enough that I don’t really want to go back to sleep, but I certainly don’t want to be up at 5 am.

Is it lucky that I usually need to pee around 5 in the morning, so i get up and make the dogs go out too? I never thought of that as fortunate, but maybe it is. Morrie’s looking really good!
