My zinnias are in as many stages of development as there are zinnias.  This one is in its prime.

      Such oddball little flowers. So many different grotesque possibilities. I love them. First time I’ve ever grown them was a few years ago. They get so dry and scraggly and ugly, cut them back and they pop up again in a few months.
