There is a special saying: βHer delight in the smallest things was like that of a child. There were days when she ran in the garden, like a child of ten, after a butterfly or a dragon-fly. This courtesan who had cost more money in bouquets than would have kept a whole family in comfort, would sometimes sit on the grass for an hour, examining the simple flower whose name she bore.β

Lovely. Was her name Camellia?

A great shot of the camellia — but you are creating a new challenge with your bug of the day! I saw the bug right away, but had to look hard to see that it was a ladybug!

I know. Suddenly, every photo I take has a bug on it. Guess it is the season. They’re getting fueled up for the winter. The ladybugs were swarming in Huntsville. I mistakenly swatted one off my neck, thinking it was a mosquito or fly. I hope I didn’t kill the poor thing. I love ladybugs, even en masse.

Ooh — poor ladybug! I hope it lived, but I think they are pretty resilient! I love them, too, and they are good bugs!

Lovely flower and I spotted that ladybug peeking out from behind a petal! But I don’t think I would have seen her if you hadn’t mentioned it!
