Doppelganger Disclaimer
I do not have a doppelganger. There’s no evil twin
wandering around within the world I’m in.
So any malfeasance—any scrape or sin
that has occurred in any place where I might have been
please attribute just to me. I will take all the blame.
Blaming a doppelganger would be to share my fame.
Sometimes I am a stinker, but at other times most jolly.
I’m responsible for all of me—both bravery and folly.
As a denizen of this fair world, until I pull up stakes,
I think it’s only fair that I claim my own mistakes!
The prompt word today is doppelganger.
Good one, Judy!

I do, too. Wish my better camera hadn’t died. I can’t remember if I took these with my iPhone or underwater camera, but neither does the job my Canon did. R.I.P.

I took the bird one with my Canon (now deceased) earlier this year in La Manzanilla in the mangroves.

Hey, just drop me a link anytime, for any reason. I’m always delighted to read your work, but lately I’ve become so addicted to Japanese number puzzles that I’m missing a lot. I’ve discovered that numbers help me to escape from harmful thoughts. Come to that, so do your poems, but they don’t require the same leap into logic.

At least you have some good stories that way.
