Gerbera: Flower of the Day, July 8, 2018

IMG_0215

I love these centers of flowers, like a thousand little additional flowers.  This gerbera daisy was in a huge bouquet of dozens of different flowers given to me by Pasiano and his family for my birthday.  Gorgeous in its entirety as well as the individual flowers and their details.  Go HERE if you want to see the entire bouquet.

About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

Mine, too, but hate it when they get wilty. A flower shop I knew in the states used to run a wire up inside the stems so they stayed upright. I just cut the stems off a bit.
