Past the old cinema building where forgottenman spent his early life running around in the theater his grandfather built and ran.
Following the signs.
What can they mean?
Can this be one?
Snake or shard of old ripped canvas?
On the trail again.
and signs of destruction. Or construction.
a shopping cart and kin.
A greening tricycle,
a bicycle and an old chamber pot,
an almost red wagon,
New porch extension
with evidence of the old one.
Signs of a sad Halloween
and past wild games.
and a stone kid who will never swing in that swing. Unless, perhaps, on Halloween Eve, some trickster relocates him to his desired spot.
Another mystery, smashed into the dirt.
And finally, home again.
