No, I never have. He passed in Dec. 1995. He was my friend and companion for 19 years. He was the runt of a huge litter. He was given to me at 3 weeks old, literally starving to death and I bottle fed him for the next three weeks of his life. Oh the stories I could tell about finding KMR (kitten milk replacement) on a Saturday and 3 hour feedings. Anyone who complains about the rigors of feeding a human baby has obviously never bottle reared a kitten. LOL. He grew to be huge weighing in at over 17 lbs in his prime and wasn’t particularly fat, just BIG. He .was a white/grey tabby mix. His face was white with a grey “moustache” under his nose. We called him Charlie Chan because of the mustache but he was more dignified than that so it mutated to Charles. Thanks so much for letting me relive that lovely memory and for “listening” while I do. 😉
He looks quite content. He must have a great life with you.💓

He went from being runt–half the size of his sisters–to being cock of the walk.

That’s the way kittens seem to work. Reminds me a lot of my Charles (wiping a tear from my eye). Quite a striking fellow.

Have you published a photo of Charles? I take it he’s gone to that great warm windowsill in the sky. If you’ve posted a photo, I’d like a link.
