Moonstruck
I am blinded by the rising moon,
as there above the old shed,
it broadcasts
that elsewhere in a larger world
all is well
and as intended.
The prompt words today were broadcast, shed and moonstruck.

Love this…both photo and poem. Did you take the photo? Nice job if you did. π

Yes, I did. I think I used a tripod. Took it from my back patio–the first of two blood moons that year, if I’m not mistaken. Unless noted otherwise, I take all the photos in my blog..with the exception of the montage of weather disasters used last week. I think I forgot to state they weren’t my photos, but it was obvious they weren’t, I think. I should go back and do so. Glad you like it.

I thought you did take the photo. I enjoy all of your photos. You, too, seem inspired to write from the photos you take. π

My goodness what an orange moon — that’s what our moon looked like last week with all the smoke in the air!

It was a blood moon. There were two of them that year, as I recall.

Yes, the rhyming is just what I started doing when blogging as it is a fun sort of game. I got addicted to it. Not rhyming seems like cheating now… ha, although I know no one takes rhymed poems seriously anymore. Ah well. Gotta do what you want to do..kids books give me a better excuse to do so.
