I remember moss roses back to my grandfather’s time! He used to let me ‘help’ in his garden – called ‘Victory’ gardens way back then in Canada! Brings back wonderful memories with my grandad!

We, too, had portulaca in our yard as I was growing up — I’m thinking of planting some in my little border area. Very pretty!
