It’s my big sister’s birthday today. We won’t mention ages, but suffice it to say that she was always four years ahead of me in everything except birthdays, because mine has been happening six days before hers ever since I was born. Happy birthday to my dear sister who always has my back.

Lovely family photos! I’m the oldest of three daughters. One sister is 31/2 years younger, the other 10 years.

About the same spread as in my family of three girls. My oldest sister was 11 years older, my middle sister 4 years older than me. I was the youngest. Still am.

Luckily for me my two younger sisters are fanatical sun-bathers and I’m frequently assumed to be the youngest!

I was the older sister, so I never inherited anything. Would you believe I was envious of kids who inherited clothing from older siblings? But I was. I also didn’t inherit any toys because my brother’s stuff was pretty much bats and balls and huge bicycles I could even swing a leg over, much less reach the pedals from the seat. My sister was so much younger than me that most of my stuff had already been sent to charities by the time she was old enough to wear it.

Ah.. poor Marilyn. But you had an older brother, which I always wanted.. so we are even. Tell Garry that I’ve been watching his favorite movie lists, but the bridge one was too sad..Westminster Bridge? Some bridge…

Also watched my all-time favorite movie ever, You’ve Got Mail. Very top romantic ending ever. I watched it three times.. ha. Getting rid of excess water in my system this way.

My Reader is so messed up.. It doesn’t show me the names of blogs and the lines are all superimposed over each other.. and I can’t comment on your blog or even see it. So I’m commenting here. Perhaps it will clear up by tomorrow.
