Driven to It
I often I keep my voice inside me, intimate and warm.
At other times it grows into a raving public storm.
What makes a calm soul shift her voice from inner into outer?
Most probably the other souls who come to crowd about her.

Enjoyed the perspective of this Judy, sometimes we all need to speak up! I agree, and thanks for sharing your voice. Well written!

And here I am, part of the crowd. But you have good things to say.

Nah. Two isn’t a crowd. Even four isn’t.

Si. And just crowd noise and inanity. I like my conversations one-on-one anymore. Used to love parties and crowds. I think as you get older a lot that you’ve experienced wears out. Friends, nature, art, good writing, pets, kids, humor remain. Oh. And funny videos of dogs and cats!!! Did I forget to mention food? Still lots in the world, but I enjoy it in smaller doses.

I can still do crowds, occasionally and for a good reason, but I am generally more adventurous, I think. On our recent Las Vegas trip, the only reason I didn’t take a ride on Zipline is lack of time. Next time, I hope!
