It was either in Athens or Chicago…on the way home from Greece. So it qualifies, right? Actually, it was Chicago.. about 3 a.m. I have another better shot of the waiting room crowd that I need to publish. Not a door, though. I took this one so it would look like I was taking random shots but I really wanted a photo of this person totally wrapped up in a blanket..I took this one of the doors and then panned around, ending with a quick shot of her/him..
Now you’ll have to show the shot of the man wrapped in a blanket! I love this door — one of the prettiest metal security doors I’ve seen. The others in Greece?
Brilliant dolphin door. I saw some glimpses of Italy, and Montenegro, of all places, on your blog. Did you reach Slovenia too? I suppose you’re back yet. Was it all that you wished for and more? You may notice that I have a new blog again which you helped to christen. In one comment you called one of my posts excessive and that’s what I am now, Ms. Mexcessive. 😀
You know I have great respect for excessive, of course. No, we didn’t reach Slovenia. We saw some great sights, but I will never travel by large ship again. Not really my favorite mode of travel. Too regimented and too fast. I like a more leisurely mode of travel with more flexibility.
I was going to ask if they are all in Greece — but Skyscrapers looks more like an airport restaurant somewhere in the US — ?
