These San Francisco Chronicle shots are some of the most amazing photos and videos that I’ve ever seen. They really bring us eye-to-eye with the tragedies of the California catastrophic fires.

I went through similar photos yesterday and did think how amazing and scary beautiful at the same time. Today’s the first time I spent much time outside in about a week. Hope you are okay.

These are amazing shots — I’ve been glued to the TV for the last couple of days, and Southern California looks a lot like this hre and there! One of my favorite stories from a SoCal fire is of the horse that had been led out of a corral — he sent back in on his own, and a moment later came out with a mare and a foal — he followed the larger group out, once he had his family together! It’s been an amazing and shocking few days — a few days I’d like to put in the BACK of my memory!

Oh, that’s so touching. I cry at the drop of a hat lately. I hope it is a temporary thing, but now you’ve set me off. Most of my tears have been for the immensity of of tragedy. Good to hear this one positive story.
