I can’t figure out how to send you a photo of the inside of this shop, but here is a link that tells a story about 24 hours of Hell and how someone in the hair salon pictured saved my life. Maybe I’ll add a photo of the inside of that shop at the end of the story and take it off after you’ve seen it. Please note that they are the ones who saved me, not the ones who gave me the haircolor from Hell! The photo will actually be of the shop–taken as I’m having a pedicure. Not so different from any other hair salon and to be fair, the photo of the front of the shop was taken as they are doing remodeling which is why it looks so bad. Here is the link to the article. Give me a few minutes to add the photo at the end of the inside of this salon. https://judydykstrabrown.com/2016/06/25/24-hours-from-hell/
Okay, Janet, it’s a go..I installed the photo on the blog whose link is given above. You probably already read this sad tale, but go ahead and read it again. There will be a pop quiz afterwards!!
Thanks, Judy — it’s much better inside than out — but it helps to know that the front was being restored/remodeled! I’m glad they were able to save your trip to the States — what a story!!!
Mary, it is a functioning beauty shop. They are just having the front redone so they’d stripped it down somehow. If you look in comments, I give a link to further information.
Thanks for sharing the story behind this photo, even tho’ a frustrating one. Like all the reflections in the photo. Seeing the beautiful orchid growing inside gives me hope for restoring the outside.
A great shot — I keep wanting to get through that door and see what’s inside! Good title, too!

Yes — I could tell it’s a beauty parlor — the photo still wants to draw me inside the building! Would love to see your blog on it!

Great image. There’s an awful lot going on in this shot.

Agreed. I’ll take a photo when they are finished. Bet it isn’t half as interesting.

Exactly!!! Love it. I went by today and it is now plain gray concrete. I hope it is a bit more interesting after they paint it.
