Oh wow, beautiful, I have coral honeysuckle all over, and while I have photographed it with interest, none have shown us the real beauty. Reminds me of the tiny flowers of less than a quarter inch peeping out of the grass, which people tromp over, never noticing them, but they put a sweet perfume into the air without us knowing where it comes from. Now I need to get out there on my hands and knees, and show what we do not see~! Thanks for the idea (but it make me feel guilty)~! Of course, I have written a poem about them, so I will rename it “Low and Sweet”.

I’ve been trying to photograph honeysuckle off and on for 19 years and this is the first decent picture I’ve captured. The trick is to get it against a blank background. And those little flowers in the grass? I’ve noticed and photographed. Love them. That’s what I love about photography. It encourages one to look closely. Writing does the same but we are usually engaged with larger themes than flowers when we write.
