Men At Work

Jesus and Eduardo have been working here for about 2 1/2 months now and have worked wonders. They’ve finished with the house, but I took a few photos yesterday and today as they worked on the studio. What next???

I made a six foot long strip of paper with all the designs I wanted them to use. Then they measured off and hand drew the designs, then painted them. The colors were derived from a mural Jesus painted over my bedroom door (outside) ten years ago. I love how it softens the brighter colors of the house.
I’m like someone who gets addicted to tattoos. I just keep having them add more!!

They draw the designs free hand on the wall and then paint them. I found the Aztec designs in books and online and decided which ones I wanted . They are doing a wonderful job.

Yes.. they have two more sides of the studio to do. They’ve already done all around the house, the garage door, around entrance door and two sides of the studio. Soon they’ll be done!!!

hey Judy, place is looking great with the new additions. Lucky you to have these talented artists creating. Bill suggests adding height to your wall around your property will give Jesus plenty of mural space. love to you from sharon and bill

I am offering to paint my neighbor’s garage wall that faces my property. Jesus is dying to paint a mural on it but my generosity doesn’t go that far. For 19 years I’ve been staring at that ugly wall. No one in Mexico thinks they need to paint the side of their house facing their neighbors. I beg to differ…I am doing a wall on that property, but the first estimate came in so high that I am considering other options.
