State of the Studio

The first photo below shows why I have been spending so much time in the studio lately—best view in the house. Well, that and the fact that I’m campused with the rest of the world. The other photos show the general state of the environment within, including a bit of the work nearing completion. I’m having glass-fronted boxes made for all of the new retablos. It’s just too easy for kids (or grown kids) to pick things off when they are unprotected and unsupervised during shows.

    The view’s terrible but that’s an artist’s lot 😉 Your neatness very much mirrors my wife’s (Sue) workroom. She’s currently concentrating on journal making. And thank you for adding ‘retablo’ to my lexicon.

    Oh my,, I give up, you win I found, you have the “most stuff award hands down~!
    and in this post I must say, even the photo I did not pay, but collected it the same old way.
    But I must admit that I do cheat, for I hide my stuff, not under my feet and never a duplication will i repeat.

      Yes, everything is labeled and in a specific place except for the “Miscellaneous” drawer where in the past I put the unused remains of completed projects. That drawer awaits sorting. All the projects you see are new works in progress.
