Sad

Sad

Falling
straight
through
gray
skies
into a
world
of
blue
mosaics,
rain
is
sad.

About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

I like it~!! Well it is sad, unless you live on a rain water supply, as I do, then the word of the day would need to be glad…. Beautiful photo it must have been one of those tropical storms, usually rain is difficult to photograph out here except as a haze. Though I have well water which I use in the yard it is heavy with minerals, my inside water comes from the rain and it is sweeter than bottle water~!

I got my covid # 1 yesterday does this mean the I am only 49 % covered until I get the other one ??? It turns out that Houston is flush with the vaccine over the past couple of days and they announced over the air that Hays County where I live is sending out notices, Will probably get mine today after I no longer need it…. c’est la vie~!!

Unless it’s a deluge, washing away a hillside, I’ve never experienced rain as sad. Your photo is beautiful and the poem’s technique, drip drip, brilliant.
