This huge tree was covered with nesting egrets. I was so lucky to catch these chicks and mothers at exactly the right time. Actually, this happened to me twice. These pictures were taken in the little town I live in in Mexico, but I have photos of another tree in Sheridan, Wyoming, where the same thing was going on. Those photos were taken at a further distance, however. Those two locations are 2,000 miles apart!

Hi Judy, Where did you find the egrets? I’ve noticed that the egret population seems to be much less this year in this area of Lakeside.
