Flying from Dallas/Ft. Worth to Guadalajara. Incredible clouds. And, an incredible next-door neighbor. He was such a good boy. Please click on these photos to see them full size. It is worth it.
One favor, please. One viewer has said when they click on the first photo that it shows an arrow to advance to the next photo, but that it won’t advance. Can you please try clicking through the entire series and see if they advance and enlarge for you, then comment below? And also, please tell me what browser you were using. It looks like they do not advance and enlarge on Safari, but I’m wondering if the same is true on other browsers. They seem to work on Firefox and Chrome, but Chrome does not enlarge them as much as Firefox does.
News Flash: Sue at Nan’s Farm has given a solution. If you can’t advance through and enlarge the photos by clicking on them, clear the cookies from your browser and it will work. This worked for me on Safari. Let me know if it works on other browsers. Thanks, Sue!!!
That looks like a pretty smooth trp ~ ~

Janet, did you click on each photo? If so, did they enlarge and progress through the entire bunch? When Forgottenman views him, he says the gallery doesn’t work. It just shows the first photo and when you click on the arrow, nothing happens.

It was fascinating and it turns out that the stranger in the seat next to me and I had something in common. I had written a story about her parents 20 years ago! It was published in a now-defunct magazine. What are the chances? She is from Nashville and just moved her mother there from Ajijic and was coming down to clear out the house and sell it. That was her cute little dog.

That’s amazing — I hope you kept a copy of the story you had written! That is a cute little dog, and I’m glad it was allowed to sit with you! I had a flight like that once when my 2-up boss sat down next to me (I didn’t know ahead of time that she was even on the same plane!). I had a major issue at the time that needed some discussion, and we had a chance to talk it out — turned out she was documenting a problem with my direct boss, and ur conversation was very helpful in that situation!

What is a 2-up boss? I went to a party in Bombay India and was sitting next to an Indian student and it turns out that just a week before he had been at a party in Wyoming and had ended up talking to my sister. The party was at the house of one of her college friends and my sister was visiting her. What are the chances of that?

A 2-up boss is a direct boss’ boss! That party story is pretty coincidental ! It all goes to show that the world is not flat!

Do you mean he or she is the boss of your boss?

I had to click on the first photo three times to activate the process — I usually don’t do this, as when I see the photos on emails, they are already enlarged and I can go straight through them. Once activated, the photos progressed from one to another as they have before.

I can view them by swiping. Lovely pictures.

And he was so well-behaved. Stayed in his carrier the entire time. Did not bark. His mom fed him blueberries!!!

Ahh, this is the perfect neighbour. And the clouds look good too. I use Chrome, can view photos in the gallery normally by clicking on the first, but they are really quite small. Still good enough to view happily. All well to you!

People have different experiences. They were small on Chrome for me, too.

Beautiful photos Judy, especially of your seat mate. You had a beautiful day for a flight. I was looking to see if you flew over me, No luck~! Bet everyone is happy to see you home, but from your post it appeared to me that you had a great vacation. I have both Firefox and Chrome but viewed these full size, in series, using Firefox.

Yep, I enjoyed flipping through on Chrome with no problems, lovely skies, and a cute companion you had there!

I love those sky and earth pictures! Great stories about coincidental meetings. I have some similar tales. It’s a small world. I use Safari on my phone and swipe to go through. They didn’t use to enlarge, but the last software update must have fixed that, because they do now.

Judy, there is a fault when the Apple Safari browser is used. if iPad and iPhone users switch to another browser such as Google the gallery no longer freezes.
WordPress is aware and is trying to ascertain whether the fault lies with WP or Apple.

Thanks, Sue. I use Chrome as my browser but Safari is my default browser and the one my friend who reported the problem was using. I’m so glad they are checking it out and very much appreciate your letting me know.
