The flowers look like morning glories — but morning glory leaves are more like ivy than like the leaves in this photo!

But I think it may be twined around in a different plant. I can’t quite figure out where in the garden this was taken. It’s dark now.. I’ll go investigate tomorrow. Plant sleuthery.

But.. you are right, Janet. These are not morning glories. They have individual petals.

At least it’s a good excuse for a new word! You may be right that the leaves that go with the flower are hidden by the other greenery!

Thanks, Dora. I love those brooms. Just bought two new ones. I like to have one by each outside door for the spontaneous sweeping-up of fallen plant matter.
