I was so busy during art camp that this was the only photo I was able to take!! This is one young man’s egg carton flower. Very colorful! The plate is not part of the flower, by the way. Just something to carry it home on.

That kid did a great job on that flower.. It reminds me the people in third world places seem to have a natural ability of turning something we may consider trash into something beautiful..
Every time I went to one of our crews they would have a self made gift for me.. I have a knife that was beat out on a rock from a file and it is beautiful and still as sharp as ever, after all these years, one made an ash tray out of one of those large pistons, and many of them pick up aluminum from past wars in the Sahara and cast animals out of them..I did have a problem when they had a live wild animal though They just die not understand that I could not keep them in town.
I think that I posted some photos of these things. They can make music out beating on a pop (orangina) bottle or a tin can or cardboard box, and will dance with each other, one covering their head to play the part of the woman. Black people can make music out of nothing as well, My favorite is Jazz.
