About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

The robins have been passing through here, headed south, for about a week now,, they are such pleasure to see. I do not know if they get as far south as your part of the world ~! I also do not know if it is because of the terrible cold up north but I always feel so great when the get here by the end of the year, or Friday 13th, they are such a pleasure to see~!.

All is well here at Los Perdidos, I have been taking advantage of this beautiful part of our year; each morning starts off in the upper 60’s but then gets on into the 80’s during the day.. Great for catching up with all of those outside “bucket lists” that I have I have been procrastinating.

I have my sauna now cleaned out, upgraded, and ready for great “sitting”, and listening to great music, I even upgraded the light source so I can now read, and also now take my little “Mac Book” in there to keep up with my correspondence~!

But in the meantime that hole in the floor is still waiting for the new spa, and they keep telling me that I must be patient.. Damn, over two months to build it, after it is paid for, is more than I expected.

Business in the United States has become terrible, they sell it, then they build it.. What are we coming to~?

ps: still planning a trip south toward your direction in the late spring.
