these are the remains of two other bouquets I’ve had for 11 days. I combined them to make a new bouquet. Good old mums and Gazanias. The sunflowers and roses have all expired.

Beautiful, Judy — I still have a planter box going strong with 3 bulbs and ivy from a week before Christmas! Flowers from my birthday have all wilted, but that’s still19 days! The cold and moist air must have helped!

I was surprised at how long these lasted. They were in a foam block. I think that helps. They stay moist but the stems don’t get soggy like in water.

My birthday flowers were beautiful for a day or two, then began to fade, even though they were also in a foam block. I think the freshest ones must have gone to the Rose Parade, though!
