The sunsets here are almost always striking, but over the past few weeks there have been some particularly stunning ones. Here are photos of a few of them:

    My goodness, how beautiful! Thank you for sending the rains northwards this month, and for sharing the sunsets this way! The last two days have been chilly, but the sun has been out, and it’s such a pretty signt, with all the spring green grasses that have sprouted!

        Thank you — the first half of January has really been a downer, with all those rainy days! The whole state is now repairing damage, from widened creek beds to decimated shorelines, to downed trees, to potholes, and so forth! But the sun was a welcome signt today, and we should have a week or so of sunshine now.

            Hah! At least our plagues recently have been from natural causes! And the few quakes we’ve had have seemed minor compared to the recent ravaging floods! Fingers crossed!

              I think all the plagues of Egypt were from natural causes as well. Except. perhaps, the water turned to blood, but I suspect even that could have been runoff from upstream.

    You do get the most glorious sunset. They are exquisite.

    We are getting a LOT of rain — all the way from California. That’s new. I don’t think we’ve ever gotten CA weather in New England before. The winds are changing …

        It has been raining almost every day for weeks. Lucky that this is a watershed area, so there are a lot of wetlands and rivers to collect the water. If not, we would be flooded. As it is the rivers are beginning to get awfully close to the top of the banks. Considering we went for months without water, now we are awash!
