Old Dames Response

When I published the news of my adult coloring book When Old Dames Get Together and Other Confessions of a Ripe Old Age now being available on Audible, I asked anyone who ordered it to send me a photo of their reaction to it—either a photo of them being an Old Dame (Or Old Mister) or some other response. Here is the first response by my friend Linda Crosfield in Canada. Thanks, Linda. My cats agree that it makes a good chair!!

About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

AWWWW! That’s AMAZING! My ex’s current gf has one too, but his eyes are the wrong color and he’s only the size of the average cat. Out the corner of my eye I think it’s my cat, but the second I glance at him directly, I know it’s not. The one on the coloring book could be any size and his eyes are the right color. It shocked me immediately. It was a good feeling, so thank you

This is so much fun. I’m excited to meet with our friend Gina tomorrow with our “Old Dames” coloring book and colors at a local coffeehouse. We’ll send photos. Love this creative collaboration!
